Donate your pre-loved running shoes, we'll clean them up and pass them on to a young athlete.
Our goal is to keep running alive. We want to empower & let young South African’s realize their own potential through running and other sporting activities. Through this, not only can we nurture talents but find talents & start a greater movement.
At Project Run we are encouragingwe are encouraging customers and passers by to drop off less-worn, previously loved sneakers that just need a little love, care and attention to transform them to ‘as good as new’ sneakers for the proud feet of young South Africans embarking on their adult journey.
How it works
Drop off your less-worn, previously loved sneakers at any of the designated drop off points.
The Sneaker Shack will provide a fresh clean to all donated shoes in order to look and feel brand new.
The Sneaker Shack passes all cleaned shoes on with the hope that running is kept alive & the youth continue to feel empowered through sport.
Join us in taking your sneakers on another adventure and drop off your sneakers at any of The Sneaker Shack branches.

MAD2RUN x Project Run
MAD2Run is a group of ordinary South Africans using our feet for a great feat! This is a unique annual fundraising event, in which a group of selfless individuals epically run from Johannesburg to Cape Town (1520km in total) in just 7 days! It’s a 24-hour relay-style running adventure, all in support of MAD Leadership Foundation.
We followed the runners on their journey and dished the dirt on what it takes to travel across the country using only their tenacity and feet.
We joined the challenge by collecting as many running shoes as we could across all our stores.
